This was around 2006-2009ish, aka late elementary early middle school days—and in hindsight, I shouldn't have been on the internet at such a young age. However, I think it has taught me a lot of what I know now.  01  I am mostly canon compliant while also mildly canon divergent, in terms of personal interpretations and headcanons, which are quite minor in the grand scheme of things. 02  There MAY be suggestive themes, or even NSFW, on my page.  07  In continuation to the rule above I am 100% okay with having multiple RP partners, and 100% okay with said RP partners having multiples of their own. When it comes to romance, though, if you would like our characters to do polyamory, I do not mind as long as there’s proper communication. On the topic of romance, if you have multiple verses, then it’s absolutely okay to have separate relationships in those verses. (i.e, my muse and your muse are a pair in one AU, but in a different AU, your muse is with someone else.) Even if your character has other relationships in the same verse my muse is in a relationship with yours, then that’s fine. They can be kept technically separate, I don’t mind at all. 08  In-character DOES NOT translate to out-of-character. If the character I am roleplaying as has an issue with yours, that doesn’t mean that I myself also have an issue with you. 09  At the end of the day, RP is a hobby for me. It is not my life, nor will it ever be my life. Important Notes

  001   Dhezi, in real-world terms, is a brown latino. He speaks Spanish even in FFXIV, and is very involved with his family's culture after reuniting with them. As a latino myself (albeit white-passing), this is very important to my portrayal of him, as it allows me to connect further with my own ancestry, both indigenous and otherwise.  002   Dhezi, while he is charming, will not flirt with your character, especially not if they've only just met. Unless your character attempts to flirt with him first, in which he may respond in kind, he will by no means randomly flirt with anyone just because he's passing glances or smiling or whatever else at them. He doesn't initiate, he reciprocates. While he is bisexual and definitely experiences attraction, he's also gray-ace, and tends to bounce off of others' attraction rather than his own.

  003   If Dhezi finds out your character is a canon black mage, he will not take to that very well. If they have established a connection prior and have been buddy-buddy before this revelation, his demeanor, thoughts, and impressions regarding your character WILL change. As to how, it's all dependent on their relationship.  004   When it comes to other tribal miqo'te, Dhezi's disposition would be a bit...iffy, to say the least. I do not subscribe to the whole "tribal miqo'te are primitive/feral" thing, because I find that incredibly racist. A lot of player tribes take inspiration from indigenous cultures, and do not portray them with the respect they should. So, if your character is tribal, whether Miqo'te, Au Ra, Viera, etc, Dhezi AND I will be very wary.

  At first impression:   Loud banter and laughter fills the bar, attention being drawn to a single man who chatted up a storm with anyone nearby. A brilliant, fanged grin is flashed to everyone he sees.   At first glance:   Dhezi is a handsome and beautiful man, both in masculine and feminine ways. He has a sharp jaw, piercing eyes, and full eyebrows, while also having full lips, long lashes, and beauty marks. He has clan markings along his jawline, upon the bridge of his nose, beneath his left eye, and has a flame-like symbol between his eyes that's hidden by his fringe. From his tear duct to the corners of his lips run marks with a likeness to a cheetah's facial fur.He has long, luscious hair that is thick and wavy, the ends usually curling. His ears are wide and round, like that of a cheetah's, yet a bit long as to show his Shetona heritage. His tail is lengthy, the tip draping against the floor a bit if he doesn't keep it lifted. His fur is the same color as his hair and is very dark, but if looked at closely, there will be even more markings reminiscent of a cheetah.His right eye is usually covered by an eyepatch, but beneath it will reveal the scar surrounding said eye. The sclera has turned black, almost as though it had been tainted, and his pupil is a milky red. He cannot see with it any more.

    Dhezi was taught under the tutelage of Aeglief Grayve, a Highlander that was a former Fist of Rhalgr Monk from the Light sept that has mastered all fourteen chakras. She has since passed, but has handed all of her knowledge and her soulstone to Dhezi before succumbing to VERY old age (over three hundred). He strives to unlock all fourteen, but would need to find a Monk from the Shadow sept to help him break the first seal.

    As a monk, Dhezi is exceedingly powerful. He has supernatural strength that allows him to destroy mountains, crack foundations, lift boulders, et cetera. It is incredibly easy for him to splinter bones and shatter diamonds. In spite of this, he conducts himself with an unbelievable amount of control over his strength in the form of gentleness around others.

    When having gone to Tural, Dhezi encountered his birth mother's family in the North. They were quick to recognize him from his likeness to his mother and implored him to stay for a while. Having done so, he learned more about his mother; the type of person she was, the life she led before going to Eorzea, and her prowess as a Viper. She gave up her soulstone before going to Eorzea, having decided to settle down with G'nhogu in the Sagolii Desert. The Soliada family had kept her soulstone safe this entire time, and knew that it would be best kept by Dhezi, thus entrusting it to him and teaching him everything they know.

Biography

G'dhezi was born from the Griffin tribe 'Allas ke Sancre' in Southern Thanalan. His mother, G'navra, became pregnant with him and gave him up to Ul’dah’s orphanage a few months after he was born, as his father, G'nhogu, wanted nothing to do with him. G'dhezi was born rather small and frail, which did not bode well for him, as Nhogu only strove to sire strong offspring. Thus, to spare his life, Navra took him to Ul'dah where was then taken in by Mother Azhi Ditreinu, an orphanage's matron, and was given her name since he arrived at her door without one. His new name then became Azhi'li Ditreinu.During his time as an orphan, he always got into trouble. He frequently had run-ins with the Brass Blades or with merchants that he tried to steal food from, despite never being left wanting at the orphanage. Fortunately for him, he was always rescued by his friends and other street urchins! Aside from all of this, Azhi'li knew would never be officially adopted, and he didn't mind too much, as he already felt Mama Azhi and her sons Azhi'a, Azhi'to, and Azhi'sae were enough for him.

Ever warm and eager to meet people, Azhi'li managed to befriend folks from all walks of life, ranging from streetward urchins to artists of the rich. He was always excited to learn something new, especially from the performers that often put on shows near the Quicksands. They kept him safe whenever he came around and taught him some neat tips and tricks that he uses to this day. He became quite comfortable and knowledgeable with dances and grew to be quite light on his feet, able to move freely and flexibly with his body. This aided him with his training as a pugilist under Hamon Holyfist at the guild, as well as with his teacher, a Fist of Rhalgr, with whom he met after he had ventured off from Ul'dah at fourteen summers.At fourteen, he set out on his own quests of exploring new lands he’s never seen before, aiding people whenever they required it during his many exploits. He never settled down or found his own place as he's always on the move, staying from inn to inn while picking up odd jobs here and there. This lasted until he was twenty-one summers, in which he then returned to Ul'dah and reunited with Mama Azhi and the Azhi brothers, eventually forming his own Free Company beneath the Immortal Flames.

Despite being a Free Company leader, Azhi'li wasn't very...responsible. He was still very immature and childish, and in fact, did not know how to read. Mama Azhi had tried to teach him, but after a life-changing experience once he was seven summers old, he was unreceptive to anything and everyone. It was only thanks to Hamon Holyfist that he regained some life to him, but even then, he never had taken the time to sit down and learn how to properly read or write.This, obviously, posed challenges for him as a leader, and had to rely on the help of others to take care of important and confidential documents, which had its risks.All of this changed, however, when he finally found and reunited with his birth family at twenty-four. With them, he would spend three cycles with them, growing and maturing into the person he is now.These days, he takes his responsibilities very seriously, tending to his employees, allies, contractors, and partners. He's able to take care of his own documents, knows the ins-and-outs of running a company, and has learned much and more about conducting businesses.

The Seeker With a Keeper Name | Main Verse

For the first twenty-four cycles of his life, G'dhezi was known as Azhi'li; the Seeker with a Keeper name. Being given the name by Mama Azhi Ditreinu, he has grown within her orphanage and thrived thanks to her tender care. It is only after his adoptive brother, Toadie, and Toadie's eldest brother, Khaj, made contact with Azhi'li's birth tribe, that he integrated himself with them and took back his birth name. After his sojourn with them for three cycles, he returned home to Ul'dah, taking up the mantle of his Free Company and all of its responsibilities. He is now happily married and has his own child, G'niah, that he loves with his entire heart. He does the occasional job provided by the Adventurer's Guild, Immortal Flames, Maelstrom, or Twin Adders. However, he is also on a mission for vengeance, hoping to find and vanquish a ghost from his childhood that continues to haunt him to this day.

Shard of Agapē | Warrior of Light Verse

The Champion of Eorzea; Azhi'li Ditreinu. Here, his timeline follows everything that has occurred in-game. However, after Heavensward, he returns to his roots in the Sagolii Desert in search of his family, as the events that have occurred after Heavensward have affected him irrevocably, spurring him into an adventure of self-discovery. He returns at the beginning of Stormblood as a changed man that took up his birth name of G'dhezi, while keeping his adoptive mother's surname; Ditreinu.

The Seat of Azem | Azem Verse

Agapē, "the highest form of love, charity" and "selfless, unconditional love". Prior to rising to the Seat of Azem, Agapē was a volunteer at Lethe, the lake where creatures deemed unfit would have their life energies dissipated. It was a heartbreaking responsibility, having to expunge creatures that were either deemed unsafe for others, not strong enough to thrive on their own, or who they all have failed for one reason or another. With every death, wept for each creation, while giving it love and compassion even if it may have gotten him hurt in the process. He wanted each being to experience warmth and kindness before their lives were forcibly taken.At some point, his duties grew too heavy on his heart, and he left Elpis to instead explore Etheirys. During his travels, he came across Venat, and the two immediately took to one another. He came to think of her as a matronly or sisterly figure, following in her steps and learning all that she knew. While he had underlying guilt for leaving Lethe, he found fulfillment and joy in finding new wonders of their star and providing assistance to every being they came across together. This, of course, eventually led up to the event of Venat naming Agapē her successor, nominating him for the seat of Azem.

  Azhi Ditreinu   ─ Matron of "Keeper of the Children", an orphanage established in Ul'dah. She is known as Mama Azhi, and has taken care of dozens of children throughout her life. She is a strong figure, very protective and affectionate towards the kids in her care. She does her very best to find them all warm, loving homes, while being sure to provide them the nurturing they need in the meantime. And while she has no bias or favoritism towards the children, she still considered Azhi'li as one of her own.

  Azhi'a Ditreinu   ─ Eldest son of Azhi. Azhi'a is a very no-nonsense type of person. He's serious, calm, pragmatic, and incredibly smart. He works in the Alchemist's Guild in Ul'dah, which is fortunately very close to the orphanage. Throughout their childhood, Azhi'a was rather protective of G'dhezi, as he considered him their third brother. He knows very well that Dhezi is fully capable of taking care of himself, and thus doesn't mother hen him as much as their brother, Azhi'to, does.

  Azhi'to Ditreinu   ─ Second eldest son of Azhi. While Azhi'a is calm, Azhi'to is anything but. He's always been hot-headed and temperamental, often getting into trouble and fights. However, rarely ever with the orphan kids. He was protective of them, and didn't take kindly to any bullying, whether from other children or even adults. On the other hand, though, he did bully Dhezi often, thinking of him as the black sheep. Yet, after the loss of their fourth brother, this all changed and he's grown fiercely protective of him as they grew older.

  G'sena Nunh   ─ Head leader of the Allas ke Sancre, youngest brother to G'maryn, and paternal uncle to G'tani and G'dhezi. A powerful man with a sense of duty while confidence and strength emanate from him. He is certainly an intimidating figure, yet when it comes to his family, he harbors immense softness and affection. Ever since G'dhezi was lost to their tribe, G'sena has tried to do everything in his power to find his nephew, to no avail. It is thanks to the Sigwa that he was finally reunited with his long-lost family.

  G'tani Nunh   ─ Right branch leader of the Allas ke Sancre, child of G'maryn, and paternal cousin to G'dhezi. An imposing figure with bright red eyes and sharpened canines, carrying themself with daunting and menacing aura. However, they are very gentle and warm to those they are familiar with, and even a giant goofball. She's older than Dhezi, and despite being cousins, they're more akin to siblings. He loves messing with him, constantly giving him noogies and challenging him to drinking contests. She always wins.

  G'maryn Nunh   ─ Left branch leader of the Allas ke Sancre, elder brother to G'sena, and paternal uncle to G'dhezi. He's an easygoing, calm, and collected man, being considered the wisest among the three leaders. He certainly does have a silly side to him, as he loves playing around and teasing his tribe members, even pulling pranks. It's hard to not see the similarities between him and Tani. Towards Dhezi, Maryn is very patient, and enjoys filling him in with stories of their tribe and their immediate family to help make up for lost time.
